There is no formal training for grooming and clipping in Adelaide, so we have personally trained our staff with the help of TAFE to the highest standards in the the art of clipping. Business SA has also contributed to management and supervision of our training program.

It is our priority to avoid problems with cleanliness and potential health hazards in the workplace. Kirsten, our Administration and Marketing manager, has been instrumental in addressing many of these issues which are common in the industry. We now have Gerry, from VIP, professionally cleaning our shops and office several times a week.

Grooming and clipping an animal require much stamina and expertise as well as patience, and understanding of both people and animals.

We also trim nails, clean ears and anal glands, inspect and treat for fleas and ticks, and examine the animal thoroughly for ear infections, skin rashes, and growths. We will then advise if we think your pet should be seen by your vet.

As additional services, we are also able to worm your pet if requested, and offer aromatherapy treatments to suit your dog.

PUPPIES
Puppies are able to come into the salon as long as their vaccinations are up to date.

SENIOR DOGS
Senior dogs need special care; our staff are trained to care for their individual needs. We can schedule your long time friend in on quieter days to provide a more peaceful environment.

SICK/RECOVERING DOGS
If your pet has been unwell or recovering from an operation and is unable to visit for their routine clip please let us know and we can arrange to visit you.

OCCASIONAL DAY CARE FOR DOGS
We are able to look after your dog during the day at our Glenunga Studio to help you in the event of an unexpected emergency. Sometimes dogs can become distressed or destructive when left at home alone. Your pet can spend the day in the company of other dogs and our friendly staff.

FACILITIES
All of our Studios are air-conditioned and comfortable for your pet. They can listen to music as they relax in the caring hands of our staff. Many of them sleep after their treatment, others socialise with their new friends. There is plenty of fresh water available and treats as they leave. Grooming salons are not licensed to give sedatives so we have no sedatives on the premises.

MOVING HOUSE
If you are moving house book your dog in for the day for a bath and/or clip. They will be out of the way of trucks/furniture ensuring that they will be not only clean but far less stressed. This will also help you to concentrate on the move without the constant worry about your pet - no more checking if the gate has been left open by removalists. They will then come to your new home clean & fresh at a time when you can give them some special attention to help them adjust to their new surroundings.
